I am a freelance writer based in Tokyo covering human interest feature stories,
grassroots social movements, culture, arts/design, food/drink, and travel in Japan and beyond.
In addition to writing, I am also a Japanese to English translator, editor, interpreter, and voice recording artist. I
work across a wide variety of fields for client projects, from corporate reports to creative advertising to academic essays.
Finally, I teach English-language courses to university students in the metropolis focusing on social issues.
I am available for writing, editing, translation and interpretation assignments.
I look forward to hearing from you...thank you so much for stopping by!
It seems that the more places I see and experience, the bigger I realize the world to be. Maybe that’s enlightenment enough; to know that there is no final resting place of the mind; no smug clarity. Perhaps wisdom…is realizing how small I am, and unwise, and how far I have yet to go.
